Add value to your high-performance requirements engineering platform IBM DOORS Next with SodiusWillert add-ons optimized for increased quality and efficiency. SodiusWillert RM Widgets will streamline your workflows, e.g. by automating recurring manual tasks or by facilitating advanced filtering mechanisms.
Leverage SodiusWillert Requirements Management widgets and take advantage of these benefits:
Reduce Workload
Our requirements management widgets relieve your engineering teams from time-consuming routine tasks, such as manually removing formatting control characters from imported requirements data or keeping track of URIs already in use. Workload of your teams is reduced while increasing motivation!
Facilitate and accelerate search operations
Our requirements management widgets provide comprehensive filtering capabilities that make it faster and easier to view important data with a minimal number of searches. You’ll see the data you need quickly and without many more filtering steps.
Add customized functions to IBM DOORS Next
Use our JavaScript widget to add custom functions to IBM DOORS Next, similar to working with DXL attributes in IBM DOORS Classic. Implement operations in JavaScript as attributes to perform specific tasks, such as calculating the ASIL score in an automotive project.
This widget allows you to work with nested filters for searching in IBM DOORS Next or define filters using logical links. You can set filters across attributes or, for example, search for all artifacts where the attributes have certain values.
When importing requirements from typical description tools to IBM DOORS Next, all the formatting information is usually imported as well. This widget automatically deletes all formatting control characters in imported artifacts.
The Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) must be assigned individually and uniquely for all data types and for each attribute. This widget does the job for you: The URIs are automatically calculated and set for you in the type definitions in your IBM DOORS Next environment.
Use the automatic compare of an existing module with a newer module and you will see if an artifact is unchanged, or if it has been modified or deleted.
If you define specific attributes for your IBM DOORS Next project, this widget facilitates execution of JavaScript instructions included in these attributes (for example, to calculate the ASIL level).
If you use IBM DOORS Next in combination with IBM Engineering Workflow Management (EWM), this widget enables seamless integration of IBM DOORS Next reviews into the processes and workflows controlled by IBM EWM.
Automate the somewhat tedious comparison of a specific module used in different configurations. Just list the attributes you want to check for changes and specify the configuration you’d like to compare against. The script will return just the differences, or the differences in context of the module, as you prefer.
You need to “carve out” a module from a project for transfer to another project or to a partner, and all the links are broken? This widget will automatically recreate all the links for you. Prior to copying, add an ID to the attribute of each target artifact to be copied. The widget will restore all the links based on the IDs.
You like to see model elements next to requirements to help users better understand or to illustrate certain details? This widget not only lets you easily pick and insert a diagram. Furthermore, it will also check for updates and will re-insert a new version if necessary.
